No Lemonade; Made A Sumptous Bitter Leaf Soup With Bitter Leaf Given To Me By People

Talk about making LEMONADE out of LEMON……I want to bring this closer as I hardly even see lemons in Lagos (lol). What I have done is to make a sumptuous Ofe Onugbu(Bitter Leaf Soup) with Bitter Leaf people handed over to me. Its a few hours to 2019, so maybe more reason I want to drop this post here.

Lately I have added a good number of Kimonos (made with Ankara and other English materials) to my closet and the reason is simple; Kimono has become a wardrobe staple for me. It is that one piece any and every fashion savvy lady must have in her wardrobe.

Denim X White Top: At Google For Nigeria 2018

I wonder what fashion would be if there were no denims💁💁💁. Denims is one of my go-easy dress-up pieces. I find it very easy and effortless to style maybe because I can be lazy sometime with dressing up. I don’t know what to call my attitude towards dress-up sometime but what I know is that my major watch words for fashion is "comfort and simplicity". But you remember what they say “simple things are expensive”. Yea, couldn’t have agreed less but errhmm, I also think that “some simple things are affordable”(affordability is relative right? But I am sure you know what I mean).

So Many Things To Do With Ankara Fabric

It looked like I was never going to come around this month but naaaaa!
Hope you’ve had a good month thus far Lovelies. For me, I have had a lot of ups and downs – death of a loved one, a dear sister hospitalized for a couple of weeks and more. But then again, it is my birth months, so it's also been a review and reflection moment for me. But in all, I also have been able to personally draw strength from within and also the lovely people I am surrounded with.

On The Neutral Side

So this is how I pulled through this color combination, neutral and pastel. Neutral can be very tricky to wear. As much as neutral colors are classified as cool colors, one has to be very attentive in other to identify the shade of neutral most suitable for one’s skin color. Apparently, not all colors suits a particular skin color; so in effect, some shades of neutral colors(camel, nude, tan, sand, taupe, beige, mocha etc) could come across unappealing on some skin colors.

How to Wear Two-Piece Set in Mixed Print

So obviously, yellow and blue are good combination any day anytime and I always like to bring my A-game when it comes to mixing and matching prints. So here I have a kimono thrown over above-the-knee length fitted dress. The Kimono was actually inspired by the chorister’s robe so I also call it The Chorister kimono. The bubble sleeves gathered into the regular long sleeves make the kimono stand out.

5 Biggest Lessons Learnt in 2017

Get Started:
You can never have it all in life; even the financially rich people in our society have some sort of needs unmet. So if you have a dream or plan to execute a thing, endeavor to start with whatever resources available to you at the moment the instinct “to start” comes to you. If you wait until you have enough resources or money etc., your dream may wither along the line. Once your plans are clearly mapped out and you are focused, things have a way of falling in place not forgetting God’s divine providence. I’d started my fashion line with just one domestic sewing machine and had overtime earned enormously with “a single domestic sewing machine”. I believe in making something out of ALMOST nothing; yeah it’s possible.
