My DIY: The Chevron Jumpsuit.

Hi Lovelies happy Monday. Hope you had a lovely weekend? As for me I did spend time with my family, they say “family is every thing” but again I had fun making a jumpsuit for myself. So I had bought this crepe fabric some months back from Lagos Island – the popular Central Mosque area and you know what, there are lots of lovely sample fabrics there. You could just take a stroll to see things for yourself.

I was there so I saw things for myself, from the street style to designers whose pieces walked the runway and then the models. I am already beginning to look forward to the next Heineken LFDW knowing full well that it will sure top this year's.

MTV Africa Music Awards 2016 which took place in Johannesburg, South Africa this evening did not fall below expectation for me. So this year's red carpet presented the audience with lots of interesting and out-of-the- continent outfits like that of Khanyi Mbau’s, however, there were lots of amazing outfits on the red carpets representing Africa in her best form, Yemi Alade’s who happened to host the event alongside Bonang Matheb and Nomanzo Matheb.

This time, she had wowed her audience in a gold rose Atelier Versace Chainmail gown which she wore for a state dinner held on the 18th of October 2016 and which is said to be their last prior to their exist from office.

Every fashion designer has a role model(s) as well as elements or people who inspire them and my own case is never different. I first discovered Brandon Maxwell after Lady Gaga wore one of his piece to OSCARS 2016 held in February 2016. The pieces she had on so much appealed to me that I sort after the creator of the piece - alas the piece is Brandon Maxwell's, a name I’d never heard of. Out of curiosity, I went on to learn more about this brand and guess what, it’s been a whole source of inspiration for me.

Paris Fashion Week 2016: Some of My Fave Looks from The Street Style

Paris Fashion Week happens to be the last of the Big 4 fashion weeks for. As usual I have taken time to curate my favorite street style look. I love to focus somewhat on street style because for me it is good platform for fashion lovers; so trends are set on fashion week streets style showcase. If I am to compare Milan with Paris Street style, i'd be able to rock more of styles on Milan Street Style than that of Paris. However, these are some of my favorite picks from Paris street style.
