Oh my!
Africans are so talented, so hardworking and full of creative minds. The GAFW which kicked
off on Friday 7th October and ended on Sunday 9th
October at the prestigious Kempinski Hotel Accra was a simple show of African
richness, creativity, talent, artistry and culture.
For me almost every piece on the runway is wearable, so inspirational for fashion lovers I believe.
One of the reason I indulge in look books or watching pieces on the runways is
that they serve as fashion school to me and GAFW 2016 has been a great one in
that regards.
Designers who showcased their pieces include but not limited to
Abaya Dake, Sima Brew, Bosi Charles, I am Isigo, Dants Collections, Mai Atafo,
Lumiere Couture, Meliane Crane, Selina Beb, Vanskere, Wana Sambo, Totally
Ethnik, Haza, House of Poan, Annesi Bespoke, Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Okahari, Steven
French, Kamsi Tcharles, Pure Luxury and so on.
