DIY/OOTD: The Flutter Off-Shoulder Tunic Dress.

Yeppyyy!!! It is the first day of the last month of 2016? Wow I am excited, I am full of thanks to God for everything which I may not be able to list here. What about you? – though we may have met some stumbling blocks on the way but victory is ours at last.

Today, I radiate with joy in this “Flutter Off-Shoulder Tunic Dress” of mine. I’d made it last Sunday evening knowing full well that it will be hard for me to sew during week days. This flutter off-shoulder tunic dress, though simple is one of my favorite DIYs at the moment so I hash tagged it #OOTM( Outfit Of The Moment). 

So I had this 2 yards of this “burning bush” ankara fabric I bought from a friend having in mind to make a tunic dress with flutter. After patterning and cutting the fabric, I realized that I hadn’t enough fabric to make the flutter. But as a fashion designer, there must always be a way out. So I saved the day by using a different Ankara fabric for the flutter – mixed print it is called ehh??? Guess it came out fine? Looking at the dress, I remember the saying that “some problems we encounter may be blessing in disguise” - looks like that applied here……………lol

Styling the dress, I went wine red with my shoe and my bag - I think I just like monochrome but hey it is Christmas season you know, so am gonna rock my red real good.

A good way to start the last month of the year? Let’s slay together this season while we continue to work hard for our money, spread love, pray and hope for the best.
