DIY/OOTD: Adaamara:The Boot cut Ankara Pant........

So obviously our Ankara fabric can be used in creating any kind of style there is and even more. Days are gone when Ankara fabrics were most often associated to and worn by our mothers, grand mothers and newly married in some sort of very traditional and conservative styles. Today, Ankara fabrics are used to create pieces which are very contemporary and with great infusion of modernity, hence the reason Ankara fabrics are used in creating endless styles.

Using this very popular Ankara fabric I’d created a boot cut pant and then made a double flutter off-shoulder top with a different Ankara fabric. Who would have taught a couple of decades ago that one could boldly mix and rock different Ankara fabrics and people would not look at the person with disdain?

Styling this pieces was so effortless. I tucked the top in to accentuate my figure and create a figure 8 illusion required to achieve the look you see here. However, this pieces can be rocked in many different ways and I will be showing you that soon.

I call this piece "adaamara"(meaning daughter of Grace). I will take you on my journey - get to tell you more about myself, how I started all these and where I am coming from some day soon........ Keep glued here and you will sure be inspired.
